Hayley |
Hayley joined the AMCS team in 2020 after a practicum placement after schooling at Fairview College. She and her fiance were planning a wedding this year but unfortunately, the pandemic has put this on hold so instead, they are happily looking for a home to share and start their life. Her life has always included animals and she shares a herd of animals with her mother including 4 dogs (Gemma, Nova, Opie, Saidee), 2 horses (Smokey and Jessie) and many cats and barn cats that are all treated like pets and have names. Hayleys own dog Chevelle is a pitbull cross that loves life on the farm and activities like swimming in the dugout or chasing the quads but can also be found inside the house pestering everyone for kisses or butt scratches. Hayley is a great asset to the team and can be found enjoying every facet of the clinic but does really enjoy large animal medicine but also takes pride and joy away on the days where she watches a pet undergo a drastic transformation for the better because of the treatments completed in clinic. The turn around a pet can make after an illness or a traumatic event give Hayley great joy. Other things that bring Hayley joy include things such as building or crafting projects and getting muddy quadding with her family or fiance. Hayley is new to the field but is already starting to have an interest in behaviour.

Jenna |
Jenna is part of the amazing reception team and you may have already spoken to this happy team member. Jenna was drawn to the vet clinic life due to her lifelong passion for animals. She shares her country home with two dogs Jay and Riley and five very spoiled barn cats. The home they share is very special to Jenna and her husband Ryan as they designed it themselves then Ryan and Jenna's father built it on long owned family land. Their dog Jay is a bit unique in the fact he is often found just sitting in the dam in the summer cooling off or in the winter dragging his belly in the snow. The newest pup Riley is turning out to be a great herding dog and has been practicing on cats but is moving up to cattle. Both dogs were a surprise to Jenna as birthday gifts from Ryan two years apart. That's one lucky lady !!

Despite being the trouble maker of the group Derek is most likely to console a sick patient in need.
